HP 8920A/B - Store internal memory saved screens to a memory card / Transfer memory card stored screens to another HP 8920A/B internal memory

1) You must start with an initialized memory card. Install an SRAM memory card into the front panel card slot.
2) Press the "Test" button, select "ROM" for procedure location, select "RAM_ING" for procedure filename. Select "Run Test"
3) Follow the screen instructions. You can use a LIF or DOS file type. It's prefered to use 'LIF". Follow screen instructions to initialize card.

Save screen setups from an 8920A/B to your memory card

1)Press "Recall", select saved screen file name. The screen will go to your saved screen setup.
2) Scroll the curser to the lower right of the screen, select"More"; select "I/O Config". Scroll to the bottom of the first column to the "save / recall" box; highlight it, change it to "Card".
3) Press "Prev" to go to previous screen.
4) Press blue "Shift" key, then "save" key.
5) Lable your screen in the upper left "store" field. Scroll curser to "done" and select it. This screen is now saved to the memory card.
6) To store another screen, scroll to lower right of screen, select "More", select "I/O Config", change "Card" to "Internal"
7)Press "Recall", select screen setup filename. The selected screen will appear.
8) scroll to lower right of screen, select "More", Select "I/O Config", change "Internal" to "Card". Press "Prev" key to return screen to selected screen (from step 7).
9) Press the blue "Shift" key, then press the "Save" key. Lable the screen in the upper left "Save" box. Scroll to "Done" and select it. This screen is now saved to the memory card.

Save screen setups from your memory card to another 8920A/B

1)Turn on 8920A/B, install memory card after boot up.
2) Scroll to lower right of screen, select "More", select "I/O Config". Scroll to "Save/Recall" field and change to "Card"
3) Press "Recall" key, select screen setup file name. The 8920 saved screen will now appear.
4) Scroll to lower right, select "More", select"I/O Config", change Save /Recall from "Card" to "Internal". Press "Prev" key. (Screen to be saved will appear)
5) Press the blue "Shift" key, Press the "Save" Key. Label the screen in the upper left "save" box. scroll to "Done" , select it.
6) The screen is now saved to internal memory. Repeat from step 2 for more screens.
